FF9ja, the premier film and streaming division of Black Meets World, has officially announced its first slate of original productions set for release in late 2026.
The six-title slate is a bold statement of intent, featuring high-budget dramas, hard-hitting documentaries, and innovative genre films that push the boundaries of traditional African cinema.

- The Indigo Child - A sci-fi thriller set in a futuristic Nairobi.
- Echoes of the Niger - A historical epic detailing the rise of the Aro Confederacy.
- Lagos Nights - A gritty, fast-paced crime drama.
- Roots & Rhythms - A documentary exploring the global influence of Afrobeats.
- The Matriarch - A powerful family drama directed by award-winning filmmaker Amara Okafor.
- Sands of Time - A fantasy adventure drawing on pan-African mythology.
